Wow, the heat is fantastic
I always thought these style of heaters put out a good amount of heat. I was wrong, they put out an immense amount of heat. Even on its lowest setting it takes barely 5 minutes for my 20’ x 12’ conservatory to be warm and toasty. Using it at this level for 4/5 hours a day the gas bottle lasts for 4 weeks. Against the current cost of gas/electric that is far cheaper than a conventional heater. I can’t recommend the fire highly enoughVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worth the extra.
The cabinet is strong and of a much better quality than cheaper models. The coal-fire effect works well at the higher settings but is less apparent at the lowest setting. I use a 15kg cylinder which just fits at the back making the whole unit quite trim compared to others and the castors are strong. I use mine in a hallway and the heat is good even on the lowest setting. The piezoelectric ignition works really well, and is very reliable, as long as you fit the battery correctly. Excellent build quality, not the usual ceramic front this actually looks like a real coal fire. Costs a little bit more but worth every pound. There are cheaper ones but you will not get the real look.
