Does the job
On smart mode , is extracting around 2Lts daily. Incredible considering it's not a particularly damp house. Quiet. solid and well built. For the weight, really should have castors included - not an extra. Lights on panel too bright at night - lights up the whole room. Great dehumidifier
Was unsure about spending £170 On this dehumidifier but we had quite a big problem with damp and mould so we bit the bullet and bought this one as it was rated in the top 5 of 2017 as one of the best. Its the first dehumidifier I've purchased so can't compare to others but we're really pleased with it. The first week we run it we couldn't believe how much water it was pulling out of the air. We ran it on maximum extraction and it wasn't too loud either. We leave it on the landing between the bedrooms and we all sleep without it bothering us at all. It's really easy to empty, just open the door and lift out the container. There's also an option to have a drainage tube so it empties itself but you have to have it fixed above a drainage point. Probably do this at a later date as it's not exactly small and takes up space on the landing. It is quite heavy too and not easy to move around but we don't have to move it so it's not a problem. I called Ebac about the warranty and it was really easy to register, just gave them the number on the unit and a few details and it was done in 5 minutes and covered fully. A Uk-made product!
Efficient dehumidifier, a UK made product which was competitively priced. Only small drawback, is the lack of a top, central, fold-down carrying handle, like my previous one (different brand). The recessed, side, handles, mean that it has to be carried in front of the body, which is a strain on one's back. But overall, a good purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight it is not

Amazing product
Bought this after researching dehumidifiers for our stone cottage. Gets mildew in places where there’s bad air circulation and also gets a lot of condensation on windows when it’s cold outside. This has really surprised me with how much water it’s collected out of the atmosphere in such a short space of time.
