I have a landrover and was sceptical as to weather or not these would work! They did the job really well, did get to a point where I didn't dare tighten them any further but by that point I could get the spring out using my Kripton factor skills! Deffo worth the money! Draper quality
Bought these because they are Draper and we’re only a few quid dearer than the cheapest stuff! So great value! Had 4 heavy duty springs to take out of my Audi 2.8 Quattro avant so needed something decent! These did the job no problem. Was a bit hairy on the 1st one as never used these before and heard a few stories about how these can slip so I was extra careful at 1st and then gathered confidence as I went on and they never slipped once! Thankful! I read a few reviews on these compressors about people complaining that the threads stripped? Not a chance unless you have superman strength! Maybe they were getting mixed up with the slidable clamp which is obviously looser to allow movement and because of that it does damage threads at that side of the bar which is never used for tightening and perfectly normal.. overall I’m very happy with them and can recommend to all the diy home mechanics like myself! Maybe professionals would need something a little bit more expensive and long lasting but these do come with a lifetime warranty;))
