A beautiful model
This kit builds up into an impressive and accurate model of the last of the RAF’s V-bombers. The overall fit of parts is excellent although the wing centre-section needs a small amount filed off the underside of the front and rear edges to sit comfortably in its recess. Surface detail is fine and neatly rendered. Cockpit, undercarriage- and bomb- bays are all well detailed and there is a camera crate and supplementary fuel tanks for the bomb bay of the SR. 2. Undercarriage and flaps can be modelled up or down, airbrakes can be depicted opened or closed, as can the crew door. Markings are included for three different aircraft but the dayglo stripes for the wingtips on the K. 2s will need to be hand-painted.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
