A truly direct replacement
The existing valve had developed a leak so I only needed the valve unit itself. As I wanted to use the existing actuator unit and pipework it was important that all was compatible. I am skeptical when these things say they are compatible/a direct replacement with, in this case the Honeywell valve, but true to the description I was able to slot the new valve in on the existing pipework and fittings (with a good dose of PTFE tape) and fit the old actuator to the top with no bother. Works well, no leaks. Would recommend this particularly at about half the price of Honeywell. (and I have a spare actuator!) Never give 5 stars as Amazing is not something I describe to a spare part that does the job!!
