Fit and forget
I needed a replacement fuel pump for my special which uses the oily bits from an MGB. The new high alcohol high octane fuel rotted my hoses and my replacement for the two SUs that I built it with. Another quality pump from Facet
Facet have a long standing reputation for making reliable electric fuel pumps; I have one which has been operating faultlessly for over ten years. This one is for a new project and the reliability of my other pump was a major factor in choosing Facet again. This particular pump is a new design in that the body is plastic and not metal. It works in the same way and, apparently, it's a little quieter, not that noise really matters when it's strapped to an engine!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Much quieter but not silent
This pump was bought as an alternative to my original Facet 40105 'cube' pump. It's replacement was needed because of the excessive noise of the first pump. This was made worse by the fact that the pump doesn't switch off in use when presure is reached. This pump is much quieter and although it too doesn't switch off, it is a much better choice for quieter running. I would reccomend the fitting of a pressure regulator to ensure the carbs are not over fueled.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
