A Must Have Little Tool!!
This is a must have little tool! When you change a hot or cold water tap washer and you notice the tap is still dripping then the tap needs reseating with this tool to get rid if the lime scale and it maybe pitted. There are 'How To' tutorials on Youtube. I just did about 6 turns with slight pressure and that did the job of all the taps in the house. Does the job, but far more turns than the instructions suggest are needed. The cutters soon lose their sharpness, but pressing harder overcomes this. Also, there is only about one thread engaging when the cutter is screwed onto the threaded spindle. This is because of an overlong unthreaded section before the cutter reaches the end stop. The DIY solution is to put a thick washer on first so the cutter can use more of the threads. Poor design and needs to be fixed by the manufacturer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
