Good value for money but built to the price
On balance worth the money. It does look very good once assembled. The extending feet make it very stable on level surfaces. The fit and finish is ok but there are some rough edges and some additional adjustments were needed to make it secure. For example the central bolt holding the table to the post was not sufficiently proud enough for the securing nut to attach (others have also reported this). Easily fixed by using screws to hold it in place. Additional screws were needed to properly secure the main support to the table bracket. I would also recommend treating the wood with a quality preservative before assemblng. Clearly at this price it is unlikely to be pressure treated. The slate effect material looks ok - again you cannot expect real slate for the money paid. Only time will tell how durable it is. Could be better
The product is sturdy and the added "extra" feet help keep it from blowing over in strong wind. Very easy to put together. Slightly disappointed that the workmanship wasn't very good - lots of rough edges to the wood which makes it look not finished off but not worth sending back - sanded down myself. Excellent value bird table
A very good value product. The materials are not as substantial as my last bird table, which lasted 10 years, however, that is reflected in the price. The birds seem to be impressed too. I stained the wood and applied some yacht varnish to seal, which I believe will preserve the look of the table. I'm sure I will get at least 5 years of service. I love this bird table and so do all the birds?
I ordered this bird table, because it looked solid and is 6ft tall. I love to watch the birds from my window, sat in my seat. I am disabled and the birds keep me entertained. I can thoroughly recommend this bird table, it’s very sturdy and was very easy for my husband to assemble it!

York Slate Bird Table
Bought for my Dad a birthday present & he is thrilled. Came well packager and mainly assembled (Just needed to insert a few screws). Looks really stylish and is well made. Slate roof durable and looks good. The magpies and pigeons cant work out how to get in which is good! Would advise it sits on a concrete slab or small slabs rather than directly on the ground so it wont rot. Excellent value for money.

Not impressed
When I first opened the box it looked sturdy. Then a closer look at it I saw the top part (the house) is held together with tiny pins and staples!!! Put it together and put it outside. 2 days later there was a lot of birds on it and 2 of the slates slipped off and a wooden pole buckled. Tried to put it back together with wood glue and the same thing happened again. Really poorly made. What a waste of money!!! So disappointed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sturdy and looks great.
Our old bird table was looking distinctly dilapidated, and I was searching for a heavy duty replacement. This definitely fitted the bill!
