Works but not the same
Works but not the same. Easier to install as you don't have to remove the dishwasher. Pop the cover off the old solenoid and cut the power wires off. Remove the drain hose, reconnect the new solenoid and the 2 wires and good to go except... This unit has 1 solenoid not 2. Not a big deal and might be less of an issue in the future. My main complaint is that the fitting on the original is female and this one is male. They did include an adaptor to go from 1/4 to female but it was 90 degree not straight and I wonder why they didn't put a female to female connector like I had to get at Home Depot in instead. Also the cover around the old unit has a round cutout and the replacement wants a square cutout.
