Unbeatable for night driving
I've got these bulbs fitted across 3 vehicles in H1, H4 and H7 formats. They are not inexpensive bulbs but when it comes to driving safely at night, these bulbs are among the very best. Maybe 25% better at most.
2014 MINI Countryman. I've been wanting to fit LED H4's to this car but none actually stop the bulb failure warning coming on, even when I fit resistors (which get dangerously hot! So , a pair of Osram Nightbreacker 150% brighter sounded good! Unfortunately over exaggerated claims 🤦♂️ 25% better than standard halogen at most ,brightness and light spread. So its double the price for little gain, I'll keep them in untill they blow and might try some gas filled Halfords H4s.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Decent bulbs for my VW T5.1

BRIGHT, CLEAR and PRECISE beam pattern. WOW ! (saved me going to specsavers)
When yet another Lucas sealed beam unit died in my 1966 series IIA Landrover, a friend suggested that I should try a H4 conversion using Wipac Quadoptics and Nightbreakers. WHAT a difference ! A superbly sharp and well-defined beam pattern that provides wide and long distance range on main beam, whilst giving long, clear dipped beam with a precise cut-off to avoid dazzling oncoming vehicles. Much better than my modern road car and with the old landrover headlamp mountings, very easy to adjust. And they are this good despite the fact that I have connected them to the existing headlamp wiring circuit with all it's old switch contacts, multiple terminals, connectors, ammeter etc which I'm sure must be starving them of some volts. So, to find out what they are REALLY capable of, I'm going to treat them to a direct fused supply from the battery isolator switch and a pair of relays switched from the existing wiring circuit. Great upgrade for older car.
I bought these to fit in a 1983 Mk2 Polo instead of standard bulbs. They were easy to fit and a massive improvement. Made visibility at night much better. Also made it easier for other road users and pedestrians to see me without being a nuisance. When i first fitted them, i also had an extra aftermarket wiring loom that provided power straight from the battery but this wasn't actually needed as it did dazzle other road users so that was removed. Make sure the wattage is correct for your car as i have fitted to other cars and they got very hot very quickly. Fantastic upgrade over standard bulbs
These bulbs are one of the best upgrades I have done to my motorbike.. They light up more of the area, and you can see a lot further than on the standard bulbs.
