Mylek drill-driver first impressions
The drill feels great in the hand and the extra battery is handy. The charge is pretty fast and the power is OK for doing a number of DIY tasks. The only issue I had was that there was no carry case, which is useful for protecting the drill and keeping all your bits together. Apart from that I'm quite happy with it. It is neither good or bad but simply very average. It is a cheap imitation of better quality products. For the odd job man it is sufficient. For someone taking on bigger home improvement jobs on a more regular basis I would buy a better quality drill. As I get older and arthritic I bought this as I no longer have the strength to use an ordinary screw driver etc. To be honest I haven't used this much yet, nor to its full possibilities. So far it is great - though I'm not sure about the quality of the drills - but at this price you can't complain. For what you get it seems value for money. Well balanced, light, powerful, sturdy feeling with an extra battery :)
I have just recently bought this item and have only used it a few times, so far it is fantastic. It has battery indicator lights, much better for seeing how much work you can do before a recharge is necessary. It has more torque power than I was expecting, quite a powerful little beast, I say little as it is quite compact and is very well balanced. It also has an led light for low light working which is also very handy. Another valuable point about this drill is that it comes with an extra battery, outstanding! The only problem I have is that I have to find a carry case for it as it came in a cardboard box, but saying that, if that is the only issue then I can live with it, plus it is excellent value for money as it is so not really a big problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
