Good Printer work Good Features.
Besides the "higher" than normal price due to a shortage of ink jet printers, comparing the features of other printers to this one, the ink usage and print quality is good. You can easily get Non Canon ink cartridges for this printer. Scanning works great and setting it up on a home network was easy enough. About the only negative was the "slowness" of the install program in getting all of the software and drivers from Canon - but it did work. The other minor negative, is that you have to make sure the "printer" is on before printing to it. It shuts off automatically after a few hours of non-use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Prints great, do not like some operational procedures
Don't like the display panel is up all the time. Will not print without it open. Get error "printer is not responding" even though the document printed. We Love It
This printer is SO user friendly. If I can set it up, anyone can. It’s truly a “plug-n-play” printer. It took about 15 minutes from the time the power cord went into the wall socket until the test pattern was printed using my iPhone Xr. We bought this printer primarily to print shipping labels for my eBay sales. Man, this is so easy now. A few simple steps is all it takes to complete a sale and purchase and print the labels. This Canon TS8220 replaces a Pixma 5020. Much finer print detail on this. Sets up the same & prints the same DVD files. Disc printing looks great! Nothing like it for the price to print directly on DVD & Blu-Ray discs for labeling. Scanner works fine. Photo printing looks fabulous. Easy set-up if you have used Canon before. Love this printer!
I absolutely love this printer! I was so afraid to go wireless, but this just set itself up while I followed instructions and clicked buttons. It has so many great features - love that it opens itself up if I print from somewhere else in the house - and that it shuts itself off. The printing is lovely and fast. Extraordinary Value
This "All in One" printer is perfect for a home office. I purchased two separately. One for me and one for my grandkids, so I can keep the replacement ink inventory stocked. Changing ink cartridges are just a snap. Setup for this printer is easy, almost plug and play. Cannon is reliable, I've owned several models over the years since I retired a dot matrix.
