Lumpy hard bits
I have had a couple of rolls and the first one was perfect on par with the much more expensive ones sold buy the major retailers unfortunately the roll I brought just a couple of weeks ago is of a much lower quality and a different colour than previously not that the Colour matters but it's a give away I use my new roll plus an off cut from a previous roll and the difference is night and day the new one has hard lumps of plastic here and there it's very clearly not so dence as the previous rolls I have had its a shame as I've got a lot more rooms to carpet but don't think I will buy this again they do say you get what you pay for but you expect the product to be fit for purpose!

For the money, it did what I wanted
For the money, it was exactly what I wanted. Cheap and it did the job. However, it was very light compared to other underlays I have had, and even with a new blade in my knife, fell apart at the edges when I cut it making clean edges difficult. I am sure it will last a few years, but I am not expecting it to be hard wearing, and I strongly suspect that it will not still be OK when the carpet gets changed next time. As it was considerably cheaper than the other underlays, I can't really complain. For rented accommodation where I seem to have to change the carpet every few years anyway, it did it for me.

Completely changes the carpet !!
I have a very thick carpet and originally had Dunlop underlay. I thought it was the best, WRONG!! The Dunlop was getting tatty so I bought a roll of this to see if it was any good. OH MY GOODNESS!! I am ordering enough for the rest of the room. Its like walking on air- its completely lifted my carpet its fabulous!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, YOU WILL NOT BE DISPPOINTED !!

worked with this product when a real carpet fitter (then the stuff was called cloud nine) would recommend as high quality underlay that does the job and also lasts not not some other products that flatten quickly and degrade over time . it might be a tiny bit more expensive but well worth the the money.
