3500 yards free hand.
This rangex range finder is pretty cool. My previous range finder would struggle to range anything beyond 750 yards at its best. Most of the time only reaching 400 or 500 yards. This range finder however is completely different, I've ranged sheep at 850 yards and cows and horses at over 1000 yards. I've consistently ranged trees out to 2300+ yards, and while I was out the other evening and I was able to get a reading off a building just over 3500 yards away. That's 2 miles people, by hand no tripod and with repeatable results. Pros: Bright oled display means you can range in any light even pitch black. Amazing fast readings and at distances way beyond my capability to shoot. I like the 6x magnification and the glass is clear. Angle compensated readings allow you to know what you should plug into you ballistics calculator. Cons: In line of sight mode (your true distance to target.) It doesn't display an angle so can do calculations on your own. Nikon only has a 1 year limited warranty on this product. I don't see myself needing to use it, but I've grown accustomed to the security that I get from manufactures who offer lifetime no questions asked type warranties. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase of this product and it's amazing funtionality. I like the different target priority modes. It helps me discriminate between the noise and my actual target. I like how fast it acquires targets. Awesome range finder
Awesome range finder. It works even my old and shaky hands. Gives distances down to the tenth of a yard. Works on trees, cars, buildings even without reflective surfaces.
