I have installed many times the McAfee security product without any problems but this emailed version did not fully install I tried many times without any success I gave up after about 2hrs that was enough. I have been installing security on computers for over 20 years SO I DO KNOW WHAT I AM DOING. I then purchased from Argos McAfee protection brilliant no problems installed in about 5 minutes. However you still need to be carefull as you are directed to a more expenses product with McAfee but as I am aware of this sales pressure I am able to work around this.

I've used McAfee products since the late '80s both at work and at home and whilst not perfect (what is?) they always seem to be pretty good. The range of differently named products can be a bit confusing and I found in changing from Livesafe to Total Protection I lost the useful Widget on my two Android devices, but it's no big deal. Seems to work fine on Windows 11 and installed easily. The continual reminders I'm not using their VPN could get annoying eventually.
