I bought the kettle to take on a trip abroad. The bit that you lift to open the lid came off in my hand the first time I used it. Day 2 and the whole lid came off in my hand and wouldn't fit back on. Total waste of money. I would have brought back for a refund but bought a few things so decided to bin it! Definitely don't buy this.... It's total tat!!

Bought this to replace our 20 year old travel kettle. Works well and the see through jug is very handy however the lid is flimsy and not easy to open.

Good little kettle and boils quite quickly. It has 2 small cups which fit inside but we always take slightly larger cups which can be filled with one boil. Short cord which is fine if the plug is just above a desk but otherwise you could be grovelling around on the floor. I did look everywhere for a cordless small kettle but nothing unless you’re prepared to order direct from China. We bought sachets/sticks of milk off the web which were ideal. Don’t forget a teaspoon!
