The flame effect is not good. Colours are not natural.My old fire had much more realistic flame effect. The desired room temperature has to be set each time you switch the fire on unless you leave it on standby. If you lose the remote you won’t be able to set the temperature and the fire won’t come on. A fire should be simple, switch on,switch off.

Well made fire. Nice having remote with loads of functions. One small thing though, fan is getting more noticeable the longer it is "on" for. Apart from that, kicks out a fair bit of heat, even with our 10 feet high ceilings!
