If you have those large wide wheels found on the more powerful cars, then this is a good choice. I found my old pump took ages and never managed to put in enough pressure. This took mine from 28 to 34psi in a minute without any struggle. The only downsides are the gauge is wildly out. (mine showed 40psi when in fact it was 34 on a proper gauge) So invest in a digital gauge. The other is that when you screw the fitting to the valve, it leaks air from the supply tube, so you do have to hold it in place. This is my second unit, I returned the first due to this problem thinking it was faulty , but in fact its a design fault. However, it is powerful, fast, takes up little space and saves a fortune topping up tyres on a forecourt. So ive given 5 stars as you cant complain for the money and it does the job brilliantly.Read full review

I got this for emergency use on my Motorhome. When I tried it out I t was OK for the front tyres which only need 65lbs but couldn't cope with topping up the rear tyres to 80lbs. I think this was because the pressure already in the tyres was too great for it to get started. Not dissimilar to my local petrol station which couldn't handle the higher pressures either. Had to go to HGV services on motorway for compressor that could cope with higher pressures. This unit is nicely made but I think really only suitable for cars or lower pressures. It might be capable of producing higher pressures from a low pressure start but I haven't tried that.

My sibling has one of these for there car & so far I have never seen it fail so I purchased one myself for my own vehicle, it is pretty lightweight for what you expect for your basic pump kit however it does the job in under minutes, for the price you really can't complain it does the job with just enough reach on all your wheels on your hatchback car. other reviews have mentioned the pressure gauge is inaccurate but to supplement that I add a little more psi to each tyre just to be safe but so far I haven't had any problems. if you want a good value for money tyre pump kit I would recommend this, I keep mine in my car. There's no excuse not to have one it might just help you somewhere, the product is made of hard plastic & the only problem is you can only power this kit with a 12v cigarette socket.Read full review

This little tyre pump is unbelievable value for money. Having read this you can stop right here, but I can continue by saying that for £12.34 delivered to my door, what on earth was I doing all these years queuing up in the rain to feed 20p pieces into a garage forecourt machine? This pump has topped up all my car tyres, put air in the wheelbarrow that it hasn't had for years and given my mountain bike a new sprightliness now its tyres are up to 45psi. When I used my old foot pump the act of pulling off the hose would instantly lose me 10psi. This little machine comes with a 32 page instruction book with more languages than I knew existed, it has a velcro tie to keep the 3m of power cable tidy, it has lots of adapters for bikes etc, it has a silica gel packet to keep it dry and a sturdy box to keep it all in. It's outrageously good value for money - less than the price of four M & S sandwiches. And, and, its in-built analogue tyre pressure gauge matches pound for pound with my far more expensive Michelin gauge. tom.Read full review

had to replace my old pump , not as fast as the old pump, but half the price , and there doesn't seem to be any weaknesses built in , time will tell , had old pump 10 years , with a glaring in built weakness, this pump is also more stable , should be ok.
