Great pH pen
This is my second blue lab pH pen. The first lasted 4 years then the keypad started acting up. They are very easy to calibrate and use. The accuracy and remaining calibrated are excellent. Best of all it uses 1 AAA battery not the expensive lithium or watch batteries. You will need the probe storage solution along with the pH 4 & 7 calibrating solutions.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

BlueLab ph pen
Ok, so I always had the cheaper brand yellow and black ph pen and wanted to upgrade. I paid the hefty fee for the Bluelab and followed the instructions with good results. I started noticing it took longer to settle out on the actual ph, so I got out my old yellow and black pen and tested with it. It responded to the ph quickly. Now my yellow and black has a time or two before acted the same but it does respond faster far more times than bluelab. Also the cap on the Bluelab is a real pain to remove! I feel like one day I will break the attached string taking off the cap. This feature really frustrates me. I would say hopefully they fix this feature, but I will not buy another anyway. Save yourself some money and buy the cheaper ph pen and maybe a liquid ph test kit as a backupVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

honest review
well I know people that has bought one of these ph pens and had the same pen for years was tired of buying cheap ph pens so I got this one...I haven't got to calibrate it but it came new in box and powered up fine...I was told blue labs makes some of the best ph pens and since im growing soil-less this round this pen will make a great difference I know...don't trust them 20.00 ph pens online just spend a few dollars extra get this ph pen it will save you from a headache in the future trust me on that lolVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best pen I've owned. I bought cheap ones and I bought more expensive ones. This pen is quality all the way around from being backlit two holding storage solution in the cap and easy calibration if ever needed. Perfect solution
I started out buying those cheap yellow Ph. meters. They were always going out of calibration easily and they seldom lasted more that a month or two, if they worked at all when received. This meter stays in calibration, easy to recalibrate when necessary and is generally easy to use. I've already saved money by buying the blue lab one time, compared to several frustrating purchases of inferior products. Blulab PH pen
If you are growing High value plants Bluelab is the only way to go. Over the years I have gone threw many ph pens. After some research I learned their is a huge quality and accuracy difference with blue lab products. Bluelab ph and ppm pens are the only ones I will use now. if you store them properly in a little bit of Blue lab storage solution they will stay super accurate and last a very long time.
