I wish I’d bought one years ago … it makes planting bulbs so easy and speedy too. I've also used it for making holes to plant other perennials too, it really takes the slog out of this aspect of gardening. Certainly strong enough for most purposes. Try hammering it into concrete and it will bend but for planting bulbs etc it will work easily. Overall construction was very good, handle stem good thick wood, stainless steel was also nice and thick. I would think this will work very well for a long time.
