AWESOME PICKUPS!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE'EM!!!! I had to replace the covers because they're "just too white", but we all know colours do not create the sound.I'm normally a Gibson Les Paul kind of guy(I have four of them) but with these Texas Specials loaded in Arielle, (my sea foam green Fender Stratocaster) She's pure SRV tone, How can you not love that? Fender Pickup specs
Just some warnings about Fender's spec's. I was using Hot Noiseless for a while and like them but they seemed a bit weak despite Fender rating them as 5 - their loudest rating. So I went to a store and tried every Strat pickup. Decided I liked the Texas Special best because just a bit more treble and definitely louder than HN despite Fender only rating them as 4. I then found the best price and ordered the TS's. I was a little concerned they might be knock-offs due to the low price, so I checked the resistance and found it to be about 7% lower than what the box says. If this happens to you, don't panic. A little research discovered that most Fender pickups read about 5-10% lower than their specs. It's ok because they are calibrated by the number of windings, which is more important for the sound than the resistance. I still wish Fender was more accurate with their numbers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I replaced fender 62 reissues with these in a start with a 1 piece swamp ash body. Total night and day difference. Nice output, gets dirty when you want it.
