    Perfect!

    I use this to monitor my heart when I am instructing my Kettllebell classes, I can wear the strap and sync it to my Garmin watch (which I strap to my drinks bottle, so I don't damage my watch with my Kettllebell). The strap works perfectly, thank you. It is fantastic value compared to the soft strap type that cost at least £30.

    Great with no issues

    I bought more than one of the HRM,s just in case one would become faulty. i still use the 1st one as i dont experience any issues with it. Garmin is good quality with great support. The belt connects with my Garmin watch as well as with my different brand computer when i go for a ride.

    Much better than the soft plastic model which replaced it

    When coupled with a Garmin watch you get an accurate HRM. Also you can replace the basic strap without having to buy a new transmitter. Much better option than the soft plastic model. Initially had some erratic heart rate readings (200+bpm while walking!). I decided this was because the previous (left in changing room and never seen again) transmitter was still on the wrist watch sensor so I deleted all sensors and started again. No problems after this. Extra battery is a nice touch. Note it does not come with the battery installed.

    Good product

    Great HRT monitor can’t fault easy for it to pick my head set & other devices. Also easier to keep clean then the old type, even though it recommended putting in the washing machine, eventually Damage will occur. Not with this one. Enjoy

    Garmin heart rate belt old model

    I highly recommend this one. It will last. The newer type Garmin belt has to be replaced at least once a year. The contacts usually corpses or it simply stops transfering the impulses to the transmitting unit. This older one does not suffer these problems. It just a tad heavier and not so slick.

    Garmin heart strap

    Old stock but never used. Wouldn't pair with cycle computer at first but online tip was to short out battery contacts before fitting new battery. Worked fine then, apparently if remove the old battery and leave 10 minutes before fitting new battery will achieve same result. Used a few times, very responsive and never loses its connection.

    Simple and very effective

    Thought that this item might be too good to be true (it was so much cheaper than Garmin's list price !) however it worked first time and has worked well every time I've used it. I use it with a Garmin Edge 25 and, using Garmin's Connect software, it provides heart rate info in the form of a graph that can be overlayed over other data - a very useful training aid.

    Garmin heart rate monitor

    I bought this heart rate monitor to compliment my garmin edge 520 computer. Its great at showing me how hard I'm cycling and gives me a warning when my pulse is too high. Although its not as precise as a power meter, its only £20 compared with £400 for a power meter!!!

    works seamlessly with other garmin gps devices. can even be used in conjunction with regular phone as heart rate monitor if the correct drivers are installed (hrm tester in play store), if the phone supports BT4.0 then ant+ is just a question of drivers to be added.
