The NT 48/1 has a container capacity of 48L. The machine is equipped with an integrated cable hook and an accessory storage for suction tubes, floor tool and crevice tool. This machine is a very robust, functional and powerful wet/dry vacuum cleaner with optimal ergonomic properties, by compact construction, which is developed for the specific needs of contract cleaners, automotive area and trade.
I rented one of these units from Home Depot when I was refinishing my hardwood floors. After sanding, no matter how well I could sweep, this vacuum left the bare wood visibly clean as could be. The new finish went on without a speck. This vacuum’s exhaust air is high up, and relatively benign compared to the suction it produces (it REALLY sucks! That’s GOOD!) so it did not aerate the dust on the floor not yet vacuumed. Also, the narrow nozzle fits easily between the sections of my old radiators, between the seats of the car, etc., and with the included wide fitting does a great job of cleaning my vintage Persian rugs with suction alone - no “beats and eats” rollers to produce premature wear here! It’s a little large, but not too offensive - taller but also narrower than most shop vacs, so actually a relatively small footprint. It’s also pretty light considering it’s size. The plastics are durable and flexible, no worries of cracking any of it’s components. The casters are large and pose no threat to hardwood floors, waxed vct, expensive carpets, etc. The lid removes with the motor and filter, allowing the rest of the vacuum to be cleaned with a garden hose if desired.
If you’re tired of consumer grade appliances, and demand something worthy of everyday use, this is the vacuum for you. Interestingly enough, the Depot rents it - they don’t offer it for sale.
If you’re in the US. Order the 110v version as opposed to the 220, and by a plug from your hardware store to fit to it (brown = hot, blue = neutral. Skip the ground lug if a 3 prong is all that’s available).
Loving this thing!!
