High quality and perfect for use on Japanese vehicles.
Most folks don't realize that the Philips head screws on Japanese cars and motorcycles usually aren't. They're usually JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard). Using Philips bits on JIS screws often chews up the heads, A JIS screw can often be identified by the punch mark (see picture) between two of the flutes on the head. Also, the flutes have parallel edges, rather than the tapered edges of Philips head screws.
These Vessel JIS bits are very high quality. They fit the screw heads snugly and won't cam out. Listed as 8 mm bits, they actually measure 7.87 mm, or exactly 5/16" - the perfect size to fit hand operated impact tools such as the one shown in the pictures.
