My adult son had a very bad eye infection, which I believe was bacterial and fungal. Even though he was taking prescription oral medications and applying prescription drops and ointment to his eye, it did not seem to be clearing as well as it should. I got this for him and he has been diligently eye washing with it and his eye appears to be getting better every day. It takes a long time though to clear a fungal infection.
