Excellent ...if the studs can take the torque.
I needed to remove 3 exhaust studs from the cylinder head of my motorcycle.One had rusted so badly it was down to about 4mm in width from 8mm.The other 2 were in good condition but were resisting all attempts to unscrew them..Anyway this tool got a really good grip on them and I was able to unscrew them,using considerable force without the tool slipping.The other one snapped off as I thought it would.So this tool is excellent if the studs are not too badly corroded.and weakened by rust.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent product which clamps tightly onto the stud and can be used with an impact driver which makes stud removal easy. Great bit of kit for the toolbox
I bought this to remove a stripped stud when installing a new water pump for my BMW E46. It did the job perfectly and removed the stripped stud in a matter of seconds. Great addition to the toolbox. The only slight drawback is that there is no instructions showing how to use it.
