Blooming exhausting
I was surprised at the quality and speed of delivery of this back box and the price was truly exceptional. I gave it two coats of genuine heat proof paint in an attempt to make it last as long as possible and as soon as the paint had dried got under the Land Rover to fit it. Fortunately I have a pit as the hole centres of the flange plate did not line up with the bolt centres of the Britpart centre section. As both are put in place and then the ends welded/swaged there's no easy way to remove them for modification, and as the bolts are welded into the centre section flange plate, putting smaller diameter bolts was not an easy option, so I managed to cut off the flange from the scrap piece and divide it and grind it out to form two opposing additional clamping plates. Fortunately the bolts on the existing piece were just long enough to allow for this. A 30 minute job turned out to become 2 hours, but all in all it was worth it.
