Bought this a few weeks ago and now things are starting to germinate I can say this is a great quality seed compost, I have sown - Tomatoes, Petunia, Peppers, Dahlia, Busy Lizzie, Lobelia and a lot of other varieties and all have come through and look very healthy. A few of the comments have mentioned ‘too lumpy’ for seeds however for small seeds such as lobelia, petunia etc it’s easy enough to use a garden sieve to get rid of any lumps and this gives lovely fine medium. All in all couldn’t be happier and I’d recommend this product and the seller 100%

The supplier sent us JI No. 1 instead of the seed compost we ordered and tried to convince us it No. 1 was just as good as Seed compost. It isn't !

Far too lumpy for a seed compost, & even putting it through a sieve wouldn’t sort out the lumps, which were incredibly hard to break up even by hand. Wish I’d heeded the other reviews
