Geat AC 5GHZ WIFI EDUP WiFi 650Mbps Dual Band USB Wireless Nano Adapter Plugin and W10 sets it up just getting 7mbps BUT seach = Network Connections/right click realtek 811cu/click properties/click configure/select adanced at top/select wireless mode/select IEEE 802.11 ac/ click OK button this forces adaptor into ac 5gh mode and i get 325 to 400mbps in the same oom as my sky route, please note you need a dual band route for ac to work if you hae problems you can go bsck in and set IEEE 802.11 a/n mode i got aound 150mbps in a/n mode Smallest dual band adaptor iv ever had thay does good speedsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Small and speed is enough for my needs
I bought this purely on size and it is smaller than similarly priced dongles. The wifi on my 7 year laptop stopped working away from the router (but was fine next to it). This EDUP dongle enables me to use it away from router again. Using 5G,the download speed using EDUP, next to the router, is the same as an ethernet cable (138 Mbps), but much slower several rooms away (42 Mbps). The laptop wifi could have been the same.
