New design
I replaced an older shimano product with this. The cups on this one were much wider than the old one and are all aluminium where the old one had a plastic cup. This meant I had to clean up the Internal thread in my frame before it would fit but this was trivial compared to the task of getting the old one out. Now it's back together and feels like new while peddaling.

Very good at first glance, but too early to know for sure.
This seems to me to be a beautifully made product. The problem with this kind of review is that the real quality of the product is only known a couple of years down the line. So for me to comment on the quality, is a bit of a guess. But first impressions are definitely good.
