This is our 4th tester which we use for the batteries powering our clay target launchers. It is important to be sure the batteries will last a whole session, as the inconvenience having to stop proceedings to change a battery, is not good practice and looks very bad.

Mine worked ok for a day or two then became erratic before stopping altogether. The leads are made from short lengths of 3 core 13amp mains cable. The inner core wires are twisted together crimped to a connector on the croc clip and the outer sleeve of the cable is crimped to the croc clips.....badly. Both leads broke loose from the croc clips and I had to solder them back on and crimp the cable properly to stop a repeat situation. This was less hassle than sending it back. Its working ok now.

A well built item that is very easy to use. You do need to fully charge a battery before testing and to be aware of the ten second limit. I would have liked a larger meter but that is nit picking. A nice touch is the fact that every part is available for replacement as detailed on a parts diagram.

Glad I went for the better tester I could have got a cheap one at 14 quid! This has a good large meter which is accurate (measured against my Fluke) and is lightweight in use. In the time I have owned it I have tested Two batteries, one 65ah and one 100ah and found them "guilty"! One of the best tools yet for the price. Only one negative with this , the leads could do with being slightly longer!

Great product simple to use and immediate results. Reliable if looked after. Price is best part of it all could find any at this, don't be tempted for getting a better one.
