Steering wheel control adaptor for peugeot 307
Brought this so my Kenwood radio could be used by using my stalk controls. Took about thirty mins to install only needed to cut one wire and attach and removed two linked wires as per instructions. Once wired up all my stalk functions worked exactly the same as the old original factory installed radio . Seems to work as it should. Reaction is a bit slow when using the control stalk, buttons need to be pressed for a little while, and the selector wheel-thingy doesnt always register when moved. But not sure if that's just the way it is, or if the adaptor is to blame. Connected to a Kenwood DPX-7000DAB in a Peugeot 307SW. Works grand but needs adjusting
Worked in seconds but then the constant live and switch live stopped easy fix to either use a switch feed inline fuse or run from wires before the harness once the switch feed was fed from a fuse in my case, the adapter worked again and works brilliant tooVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Saving X amounts of messing abiut
I'd been thinking this wasn't worth it just to be able to turn the stereo up and down from the stalk when it's within reach anyway. The aftermarket stereo was only shutting off when the dash dials were turning off about 2 mins after removing the key, and back on when you unlock the car, which is no good. I had planned to rewire it to the cig lighter, decided to fit this at the same time. Turns out this does all that and even meant that the stereo dimmed when the lights were turned on. Basically made the after market stereo work like the original one, result and no rewiring the feed to it. Made it tricky to push the stereo back in, but not likely to be removing it again now everything works as it should.
