TL/DR: The most delicious non-burning toothpaste I have found. It costs quite a little bit more than mainstream toothpaste, but if you are autistic it's more than worth the difference (and I say that as a poor person who has to budget) because it's so calming and gentle on the inside of the mouth. You won't burn and tingle-sting all night after brushing (as with mint types). I actually really love the taste (lavender aniseed), though I will flag up that it's a very particular taste, so if you are only and exclusively into the mints, it's a completely different thing to get used to. Try it and see. I will also add that if you want a super-gentle mouthwash to use after brushing that doesn't burn, Aquafresh do an alcohol-free kids' one called Babyteeth, which is a fruity juice flavour and very gentle. This is my first review as I am basically too busy with other things to usually bother, but I'm mainly doing this one as a heads-up to the autistic community out there for whom burning stinging toothpaste is a big deal (and espesh for parents of autistic kids, if that burning feeling is putting them off the super important business of brushing their teeth). It's good stuff and well worth the extra I think.Read full review

Great toothpaste, as natural as I’ve found, with a lovely aniseedy flavour. Firm texture which stays on the brush/teeth better, and leaves your teeth feeling clean and your mouth feeling fresh. I was recommended it 20 years ago by a homoeopath, as mint apparently interferes with homoeopathy. Had been using Colgate for a while, and noticed I was coughing for some time after cleaning my teeth. Googled it, and apparently that’s a common reaction to the sodium laureth sulphate and other chemicals in commercial toothpastes. Bought this and instantly, no more coughing! Great stuff..

It's brilliant toothpaste. Tastes of fennel, but not too strong. Natural ingredients - no artificial sweeteners so doesn't leave your mouth feeling weird after you brush. 50ml tubes so you can even bring it in your carry-on on a plane, which is good because when I don't have it I miss it.

I found the king fisher toothpaste good for me because I have sensitive mouth. I can’t use normal toothpaste, so the kingfisher for me is very good and fennel makes it even better. Yes I would definitely recommend this product.
