A good start into the model railway hobby.
The Valley Drifter train set is a simple way of starting into model railways, coming complete with a small tank locomotive that runs well hauling a wagon and a small coach. Together this little train sort of represents to the imagination the mixed traffic of the remote branchline of the kind that crisscrossed the country in the years of steam traction. Alternatively, this little set can be added to an existing layout, leading off from a main line. The trakmat included in the set helps visualise the landscape, offers a template which invites buying additional track to extend the layout to fill the mat. All to add interest and make a fun project !
