My printer is not co-located with my computer, and sometimes I need to use the manual paper feed. With other printers (all Lexmark) I would assign the print to the manual print and, at my leisure, go and feed a sheet in and it would print. With this one, the print times out after 60 seconds so I find myself having to run like hell to shove the paper up the manual feed. But I'm old and knackered, and the Lexmark people have been no help. I'd advise people to still use Lexmark, BUT DEFINITLEY NOT THIS ONE!!"

Excellent multi-function laser printer which for me with 3 x children in Universities this printer will be of enormous benefit over the coming years. The fuser assembly on my HP Colour LaserJet 2600n gave up on me after 10 years of solid solid use - I needed the same or better from my new printer. Setup was easy for a complex device and it was first tried with an iPad Air/Word and worked flawlessly first time with AirPrint. The following day was not so successful. The printer would not print PDF files from my Mac! A quick call to Lexmark UK diverted me to California? {0800 number) and an engineer sorted the problem out as needing a software update, gave me the link and talked me through the update, quick and easy. A second problem occured 2 x days later with a scanner malfunction, again a quick call to Lexmark pointed the finger at the printer/scanner driver, deleted it from System Preferences and re-installed the driver and not other problems have occurred. Tech Support at Lexmark is top notch and having excellent engineers working for me in the past I am extremely happy with both my purchase and support. Mike SpenceRead full review
