Great hardware. Clumsy and clunky HP Smart app.
This is a replacement for a previous and now deceased HP photo 6220. So, I knew exactly what to expect with setting up the printer via the HP Smart app. The item was received in as-new condition in a sealed and minimally damaged original box. On connecting to your wireless network the printer will automatically check for and upgrade to the latest firmware. Installation via the HP Smart app went as well as you can expect from such a clunky and poorly implemented app. Only problem was that my HP account wouldn't register the device to my account. So I had to 'phone up HP support which is a job in itself. Anyway, the support person (not a native english speaker) decided that the problem was because I was setting up the printer on a Chromebook and that I'd need to speak to Google about this! Obviously a load of nonsense so I just persisted and the HP website finally registered the printer to my account. As you'll know from personal experience & multiple reviews on the internet, the printer will regularly drop/lose its network connection and you'll have to know how to 'wake it up' to re-establish the network connection. If you're an experienced HP printer user, you'll be very familiar with this. Once registered on my HP account, my HP ink supplies were discontinued from my old printer and re-assigned to the new printer including the 9 months free ink offer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great print great printer
Works great and still running well. My Laptop is H P too and it's quite good together. The ink does not last long enough I believe .As the H P online also seems to reckon my paper usage is 40 pages a week which Is quite low.
