The Cold War has cast an ominous chill over the entire globe, and when a Soviet submarine targets the U.S. Navy's Pacific fleet for nuclear attack, it appears that the final battle has begun. But Captain Dmitri Zubov has a choice - one that could pull the world back from the brink of annihilation. Meanwhile, it begins to seem as if other forces are at work on Captain Zubov's submarine. Now, in the depths of the South Pacific, Captain Zubov will fight to reconcile his past in order to ensure that there will be a future. Not just for him, but for every man, woman, and child on the planet.

Not one to be missed.
Very good consrtuctive entertainment,the scenes and storyline keep you quessing .You do not know what is going to happen next.Tense and gripping.Great acting,brilliant actors.Especially Ed harris and David Duchovny,who have worked side by side,on an episode from the X-Files.It is well worth watching.What is going to happen next,Three countries,one county is going to blame another the wrong county for what is supposed to happen,it really is gripping based upon true events,in the cold war,which makes it worth while watching,to show you what extent certain countries will go to,the phantom itself,which misleads the enemy,and cannot find their where about,thinking they are at a different location,do not take your eyes off the movie,fast moving through each scene,and elements in movie.You are supprised even by who is on whoes side in the submarine,and the captain himself,is not what he makes out to be,he is only captain do to a medical person,he is not fit to take on,what is supposed to happen,and all goes not according to plan,no trust,as i said do not miss it..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
