It's not really doctor strange but a cheesy version.
Dont get me wrong it is an entretaining film but i expected more the costumed doctor strange and not the slow story to how he became him. I did expect it to be tame as it has a U rating but even Quincy has more action scenes in each show.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The first Doctor Strange
As a Marvel fan and long time comic collector, I have been trying to find this film for over 10 years. So after a long wait, I could finally watch it and ...... The film misses the feel of Dr Strange and while they had less in special effects back in the 70's, they could have still worked more magic into the story line. John Mills is OK as the "Ancient One" but they made him more of a main character than Dr Strange. If you are a big old Marvel fan, then check it out. If you are a fan of the new Marvel Movie universe, then don't watch it as it pales compared to the modern films.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bought to add to my sons collection.
An old film from the early 80's, re-released on the back of the Marvel new version featuring Cumerbatch. Peter Hooten is the actor in this wooden version, with poor tech effects. Its a bit like a 'B' movie, and would not suit anyone under 40 years of age.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
