Based on the true story of the Boston Marathon bombings, this is a tense and honest depiction. Wahlberg is great as he leads the hunt for the bombers. The cctv actual footage is included throughout parts of the film and the tv footage of the boat the bomber was hiding in shown too for added realism. Not being sensationalised makes it such a watchable film. Photos are scrolled up of the real heroes and villains at the end. Handled sensitively, this is a great, but tense watch.
One of the best true stories movies I have ever seen. Watching this movie and thinking this actually happened was one of the most horrific moments of my life. I watch true films because
you can't get any of the scenes
that look far fetch. You know right
from the start of the film to the
very end that nothing was made up and it really happened. The
cast played the characters very well the acting was sensational.
You can't imagine how they must
have felt when all this started. It
must have been frightening. This film definitely does this horrifying
event justice. It deserves every accolade it gets. Definitely worth buying and it is an absolutely a must see. Full credit to everyone involved in making of this film. Another thing that makes it more realistic for me is that they give you a countdown on the time minute by minute what is going on and the mayhem that they have to work through. Then they also cover a minute by minute of incident in all the hospitals that were involved in this. The mayhem and the tragedy they had to face and the way they reacted and coped with the situation was amazing. My heart and thoughts go out to all that was involved weather it was casualties, police or the doctor's and nurses. They were all very professional and handled what was thrown at them and I know I couldn't deal with that. I know I would have frozen on the spot. 10/10 marks to all of them. Great jobRead full review
