High quality
Although gransfors axes are pretty expensive after getting mine i realized why. They are very high quality the axe is very sharp and has stayed sharp and the handle has stayed tight in the head through several trees and kindling chopping. The outdoor axe is very light which is great for camping and hunting i found myself carrying it in my hand much of the time without notice just to have it ready if i needed to chop a limb out of the trail. Beautifully crafted well balanced axe.
This is a beautifully crafted well balanced very light weight axe. It looks like it will last a lifetime. It is well suited as a flexible multi purpose back pack axe, with the head and shaft shaped such that it can be gripped flexibly in a variety of ways for different uses. The shaft is quite rounded in order to achieve this flexibility, which means that it showed a tendency to want to turn slightly in my hand when striking hard unless gripped tightly which is why I do not give it the full 5 stars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
