Melafix pond does exactly what it says on the “tin”
The best treatment for fin and tail rot and ulcers in a pond fish setup .simple and easy to use . Also highly recommended when adding new fish to a pond or large aquarium, especially in the pond season.

It does seem to have a calming effect on ulcers and fin rot. But you have to maintain treatment for at least 30 days (4 weeks) Also, it is imperative to reduce Nitrite and Ammonia levels first. Or the treatment is a waste of time. Buy the 1.9 litre for a four week dose - its cheaper
