The PERFECT answer to scuffed and worn Reels
I often acquire vintage fishing reels where there are numerous scuff marks and the Birchwood Super Black instant touch up pens are PERFECT for restoring. I would recommend the Matt Black finish which blends in with most makes of reel. You can also use these pens for salt corrosion marks although you often need 3 coats to get the right result.

Not black, but dark gray. Reasonably good though.
Albeit more of a dark matte gray than a matte black (and they call it... "super black"!), it did a reasonably good job in helping me fix a DLSR body. Night-and-day difference as compared to the exposed bare magnesium which it covered.
