Takes time for them to settle in...
When I first put these strings on I hated them, they sounded tinny to me and I would have replaced them if I had another set. But, after a couple of weeks they have settled down and actually sound pretty good, so I'm glad I persevered. Strings are so subjective that the only way to know for sure is to test them yourself. I don't claim to understand why some strings are good from the start and others take time, but it does seem to be the case. Starting over

Martin Flexicore
I didn’t like these strings at all they are ok for finger stye but do not strum well with a plectrum, I usually use Martin phosphor Eric Clapton light gauge they are a much better all round string will put these back on ASAP, my 000-15m sounded lack lustre with the flexicore won’t use them again I HAVE HAD TO REVIEW MY ORIGINAL STATEMENT AS THESE HAVE SETTLED THEY ACTUALLY SOUND BETTER, and they do have a soft feel, maybe I didn’t give them enough time before judging them, I still prefer EC phosphor but these are ok when they settle, strumming still a bit tinny but picking is very good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
