Great value for tone, reliability and price!
I've been using these since Rotosound introduced them 30-odd years ago, because: they sound good on all my acoustic guitars; keep their tone for months if you clean them after gigs & rehearsals; don't break too often; they're UK made and not stupidly expensive! Every so often I do try a different brand just in case I'm missing out, but so far nothing else has matched all the above criteria, ie tone, durability and price. British PB Strings
Frustrated by the increasing prices of American made strings I thought I'd try these. Eminently usable, but initially they seem to be less polished than equivalent D'addarios, however the harshness feel wears off quickly. If I were Rotosound I'd create a wider range of PB strings - remarket these strings with a less naff name and extend their offerings to mandolins, Dobros, Nationals etc. Having hermetically sealed packs IS important - and Roto do that better than D'addario.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
