Don't be misled by the cover photo.
Written after breaking up with partner of 12 years and also her mother passing away. The bitter sweet melancholic lyrics contrast with the instantly memorable tunes. Superb musicians and production and Jenny Lewis has a great voice - i always prefer singers that you can tell what they are saying. Sounds like an album that was recorded in the late 70s / early 80s.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
