This makes a handy bed. They seem reasonably durable. I had one last year which grew the best crops in the garden, so I bought another one this year. Both of them are doing well at the moment. I wouldn't say they are slug-proof but it's definitely easier to manage the slugs in a confined area. I used potting compost last year and this year I filled them half with horse manure before topping up with compost. Salads, beans and peas all doing well.

Extremely easy to construct. Great height, so suitable for potatoes as it holds a decent amount of soil. Can be disassembled if required. Sturdy construction, won't rot.

It took less than five minutes to assemble and is easy to lift and put in place as it is very light. Once it is filled you have an excellent, rigid, raised bed which is weatherproof. Once the growing season is over by removing four plastic corner pins you can wash and put away the raised bed ready for next time.
