  • Water Rocket will have the kids laughing all the way

An excellent and educational toy, best if you understand about about action and reaction to answer the questions. Works best with medium-size bottles like soda water with the tapered neck. Avoid the very flimsy giant bottles. Be aware that if the rocket flies over you you may be drenched but laughter will rule. A decent tyre pump is needed and there are some rubbish ones out there and you may have to hold the kids when they are using a foot pump, or even take over if they are not heavy enough as it can take 2 to 3 Bar pressure for a launch but it will go and so fast you won't see it till it slows down. Hilarious fun. Well made product.

  • Great fun, educational and does give a good second use for plastic drinks bottles.

Took grandson out with rocket and tried it with three different bottle sizes (did you know all plastic drinks have the same size cap). Had great gun trying all three.

  • Great Fun !

This is a brilliant, VERY GOOD QUALITY EASY TO ASSSEMBLE & USE toy...use the smaller 1.5 litre (or even 1 litre if it has same required diameter thread) PET bottle size to get maximum height = WOSSHHHHH !!!

  • Hours of fun for kids!

Works better with a 500ml bottle & travels just as far (less pumping required). May need a spot of super glue between yellow pipe and the brass adapter that connects to your pump. Old style hand bike pumps do the job effectively. Don't use on very windy days as your be trekking miles to find the rocket!

  • I'd forgotten how much fun these are!

Bought this for my son after a vinegar & baking soda powered rocket turned out to be massively rubbish. This, on the other hand, way exceeded my expectations! Gave it its first run on a camping trip, after just one launch we had all the kids on the campsite come rushing over to watch and beg for a go. I was impressed at how high it went - they were absolutely blown away. The only slight downside to this is that you do have to pump quite hard - so it's not really something smaller kids can do on their own. Oh, you'll also get quite wet ;-)

  • Whoa!

Having made these things years ago with a squeezy bottle and cork, I wasn't expecting too much, but my son was keen. Wow, this thing flies! Using a 1 litre drink bottle 1/4 full, we easily achieved 150ft. The wind then carried it about 70 yards away. Fortunately, we were in a field. It is well made, with turned brass fittings and a clever design which screws directly onto the bottle, using the latter's thread. The fins are detachable, which means they can come off in, for example, a tree. I might glue them on. Using a track pump, it lets go at about 40 psi, then accelerates VERY fast: it says "not a toy" on the box for a reason. Also, it comes down with quite a thump: greenhouses beware! Overall, fantastic fun. Just take care where you launch it...

  • Rokit water rocket launcher

This is one of the best water rocket launcher. It's simple and easy to use. You need PET bottles and a bicycle pump with this launcher. Be careful not to try in your back garden. This launcher could shoot the bottle up to 100 yards.

  • Years ago I bought one and now I take another one, because its great for children!

With a 1l bottle is better than with bigger one.

  • Ultimate Water Rocket Kit

This kit created much fun and excitement for both adults and children. You need a bicycle pump to pressurise, when you let it go, ours went at least 70 feet into the air. Not so fun when it lands on the roof though!
