An incredible book
So beautifully written. I found that within a few pages I was thoroughly absorbed and invested in the characters. Not a quick read... 614 pages of smallish print... but so well worth it. I learnt a lot about the lives of some of the 'everyday' millions in India. There are some pretty graphic episodes which some could find hard to stomach. Absolutely up in my top 5.
