Nice item
This is very nicely put together and robust, just by handling it it's obvious it'll last for ever. It will be used to store the lighter cubes and matches for the BBQ. Although if it was going to be used for heating things, I think the plastic locking lugs for the lid might suffer, I would regard this as material choice fault. I'm not going to use my one to heat things so its not such a problem. But should be considered if any cooking is intended. The lugs can be removed and so protected, which is mentioned in the instructions, just seams a bit odd, why not just use the correct material, stainless steel. Great bit of kit for camping
Exactly what I wanted for cooking over a campfire! Seen it a in a few YouTube videos and knew this would be ideal. Really wish it came with metal clips though due to it only coming with plastic clips... And obviously they'll melt. Plastic clips? Really?
My only issue with this otherwise excellent cooking pot is the plastic lid grips. They would melt the moment you put it on a campfire. I removed them straight away but now have no way of securing the lid. For such experienced & respected manufacturers I expect better.
