These reviews are all over the place. Lancaster Zero and Brisfit share the same review page. ***** Not as exqusitely engineered as, say, Airfix's F4F, and possibly as the Zero-sen family goes not as overall brilliant as Academy's A6M5c, it's an absolutely fine model once complete. Recommended. ******** Capt. Barnwell's Bristol Fighter from old Airfix has the worst cockpit detail known to modellers; you get two half-pilots, severed about the liver. That's it aside from two little shelves of plastic to seat them. Roden this isn't. But it looks like a Brisfit. Eventually. Please do buy the Roden Brisfit instead. Or the rarer Libramodels vac which has 3 seperate engine choices and two entire aircraft. Magic. 2 stars for Airfix Brisfit.
